Geary Cemetery and Sunset Cemetery are owned and operated by the City of Geary. The cemeteries consists of 18 acres, with over 20,000 burial plots currently in place. The oldest legibly marked grave is dated 1892.

Burial records are available in at City Hall. Maps and staff are also available to assist you in finding a designated location.

Grounds Maintenance & Donations

The grounds of both cemeteries are well maintained year round by the cemtery's board of directors. A perpetual care fund is used for the purpose of ongoing cemetery upkeep and maintenance of cemetery grounds. Donations to this fund can be made at City Hall or by mailing them to Geary Cemetery Board, PO Box 405 Geary, OK 73040.
